Hope for Panic Attack Sufferers

By Denise Damazio

If you suffer from panic attacks you are not alone. There are 23 million sufferers in the United States alone. I am one of them. Panic disorder according to the National Institute of Mental Health is the most common of all Psychiatric disorders. Panic disorder is thought to be a chemical imbalance in the brain and can be passed down through families. It usually starts in ones late teens. Children of parents who have panic disorder are up to 8 times more likely to develop it.

Panic attacks are terrifying. Without warning a person feels that they are certainly going to die and the symptoms above appear. Panic attacks are not related to any specific stress, they just come out of the blue. They can be debilitating, keeping an individual from performing his daily routine. Panic disorder is a real illness and not self induced. Usually a panic attack lasts only a couple of minutes, but the experience leaves a lasting impression.

During a panic attack a person may have the following symptoms: rapid or pounding heartrate, dizziness, shortness of breath, fear of losing control, fear of dying, nausea, sweating, pain or discomfort in the chest, hot or cold flashes and tingling sensations.

Many people have been through therapy and medication after medication with no relief. What if I told you there is help out there? You most definitely would do it. There is an amazing new program that teaches you to be panic free! This powerful technique will help you live a new life. It will teach you to break the fear of having another panic attack. One needs to break the cycle.
