Anxiety and panic attacks can be acquired through many different factors. It affects people not only for one single reason. You could actually have it in your genetics to be more sensitive to anxiety than other people are. Society often refers to people like this as being naturally high strung. If you are one of these people you know what this means. You are more nervous in all situations.
If you are going through a tough situation in your life it is easy to feel anxiety over it. Many people today are anxious over their finances and how they are going to pay their bills. This may even make some people have full-blown panic attacks over their situations. Of course this is one of the more normal reasons to feel anxiety and panic.
When you are depressed it is easy to suffer with other problems too such as anxiety and panic attacks. Feelings of depression can make you start to think irrationally and panic over the simplest of situations. Like being in a crowd, which most people have to do everyday.
Also anything that makes you have altered thinking such as taking certain drugs (legal or illegal) or imbibing in alcoholic beverages. These can distort your thinking and rationing abilities so you may not be able to keep yourself calm when needed. When your going into anxiety mode in your mind there is always a possibility of a panic attack occurring.
Panic attacks have a tendency to be recurrent after attacking a person once. If you have already experienced a panic attack, you may develope a tendency to this in different situations. The fear of anxiety could lead you to another panic attack.
Panic attacks can be a vicious cycle because of this fact. Left untreated you can go through many panic attacks on a regular basis. These can strip you from a normal life, instead your days are all about trying to prevent these attacks, or being afraid to do anything.
Trauma, depression, and other common problems that you face in life each day can be the factors for your anxiety and fear. If this fear and anxiety remain within you, the feelings will develope into higher level of anxiety leading to panic attacks, thus affecting your normal life.
What is taken in this article is the fact that every one of us can be affected by anxiety, fear, and stress at some point in our lives. Although it's true that not all of us are attacked by extreme anxiety, there is still the possibility that it will happen, especially if we do not know how to control our feelings and emotions.
