Lastly, people should realize that sometimes, panic attacks are blessings in disguise. Being exposed to an offending stimulus will develop habituation. A girl who sees a cockroach many times a week in her bedroom might make her become more used to it. Later on, she will feel less scared of it that she might actually exterminate it herself.
