Having a panic attack is something that a lot of people deal with on a daily basis. They understand the embarrassing period in which they are having an episode and not wanting people around them to know that it is happening.

So if you are aware of the panic attack before it becomes full force you can stop that panic attack quickly.

But before you look for ways to stop a panic attack, you must first know what is actually causing your panic attack to begin. Most panic attack or anxiety attack is called by everyone most disliked enemy-stress.

The second greatest reason for panic attacks is phobia. If you are having an underlying phobia, such as fear of small places or crowded places, this will cause you to experience a panic attack. Seeking the aid of a doctor might be able to help this ailment.

Paying attention to your body is important because you will begin to know how frequently you have a panic attack. And once it starts, how long does it normally last and how out of control do you feel. Although feeling out of control is normal.

a.Once you notice the onset of a panic attack, you should remain calm. This might seem quite impossible but it is the only way you will be able to cure your attacks. Practice deep breathing and allow oxygen to flow into your brain. Take deep in breaths and hold them and then release through your mouth and nose.

Step 2. Most times what cause a panic attack is having negative thoughts that just seem to be taking over all your thoughts. But just by replacing these negative thoughts with positive thoughts you might be able to come out of your negative downward spiral. Remember breathing and thinking positive thoughts will help you drastically.

Step 3. Become your best friend. If your best friend was with you while you were having a panic attack and you felt like you were going to die, he or she would tell you that you are not going to die, you are just having a bad reaction and you will be fine. Keep talking to yourself in a slow, cal, positive manner until your breathing returns to normal.

Remember that though you may feel as if you have lost control, you have not. You can control your thoughts and get you back into balance so that you can move yourself out of the panic attack. You are capable of taking yourself out.
