Recognizing Panic Attack Symptoms

by Adrian King

Nearly 1 in 3 Americans deal with anxiety disorders on a daily basis. This can be a horrible way of living, and finding a solution is essential. Unfortunately, it can take years for some sufferers to realize that they have a problem, and even then theyre not too sure of how to deal with it. What follows is a list of instantly recognizable panic attack symptoms.

Many people will experience tightness in the chest area. It is not uncommon for people to have panic attacks symptoms and confuse them for a heart attack. Some people also experience the inability to breathe properly. They experience extreme levels of fear that they may stop breathing because their chest gets so tight and erratic.

Feeling nervous and afraid that you could lose either your sanity or control frequently is an example of another symptom. Feeling nervous or afraid on public transport, in the theater, at the workplace or even the supermarket and other public places is another panic attack symptom. The contrary is also another telltale sign - claustrophobic feelings are included as symptoms as well. Another is to constantly have to deal with frequent and erratic nagging thoughts.

Many people also experience certain body sensations as symptoms of anxiety panic attacks. These include dizzy spells leading to panic, tightness in the throat, chest, and lungs leading to shortness of breath. A racing heart and tingle sensations or hot flushes followed by waves of anxiety are a few more.

If you are someone who deals with these experiences on a regular basis, you may need to look for a solution to this problem. There are medicines available to make life easier, however, none of them fix the underlying problem that causes these disorders. There are natural therapies that will get to the root of the problem and help you treat the problem for good.
