The Wake Up Anxiety Attack: A Little Known Problem With A Big Effect

by Kayla Garland

A wake up anxiety attack can be a devastating start to your day. You open your eyes in the morning with the desire to start your day happily, but before your feet even hit the floor you can feel the sense of fear starting to come over you.

Your breathing starts to increase in rate and you can feel the anxiety starting to pour over you. Nothing is necessarily causing this to happen. It can be a totally internal thing, out of your control. You have a sense of doom, and think you may die.

The fear overwhelms you. You feel worried, full of anxiety and truly scared. You cannot figure out what triggered these feelings and why you are plagued by the events. You tremble, feel like your muscles are vibrating and even feel your heart race.

Sometimes you think you may be having a heart attack. You find yourself worrying about all kinds of things, whether they are logical or not. A lot of people may not notice that you are having an anxiety attack because you can hide your feelings well.

Has what I described happened to you? Does it feel like you are suffering from an illness that you cannot cure and others can't see?

Wake up anxiety attacks are a horrible part of the anxiety cycle. You have to start your day in the worst way possible: scared and fearful. Living life in a constant state of fear is exhausting and sad.

There are ways to alter and stop this pattern of negative thinking, but you have to begin to take the right steps in your life to combat panic and anxiety. It is not all in your head and you are not going crazy. It is a disorder that can be managed if you know how to properly treat yourself.

A wake up anxiety attack is never any fun and can make you think you are alone and crazy. Nothing could be further from the truth. You just need the right help to get over it.
