Causes of Panic Attacks Scientifically Explained
Panic attacks have been studied over and over again by research scientists. After all this is huge business for doctors. But the number one reason why panic attacks and anxiety are ruining your life is… STRESS!
There are other causes of panic attacks like genetics and chemical imbalances in the brain, but most of those are caused by unhealthy stress too. Don't let that scare you though because panic and anxiety are things you can 100% control.
Panic attacks most of the time are triggered from the brain and then spiral out of control from there.
Let's take a little deeper look at why things get out of hand. Oxygen is really important to you as you know… but oxygen in the brain is very important. It helps to regulate those chemical levels and keep them in balance. That's why you will always here exercise being prescribed… it delivers more oxygen to the brain.
It's all really an unfair circle of bad events. Bad stress is tossed on your from all directions during your day and that can lead to a big build up. Once that happens it will cause some anxiety to build and that will cause panic to build and then things just get worse.
That's precisely why medication is not good for treating anxiety… because once you stop taking it the circle will start all over again.
If you want to really solve your anxiety once and for all then you really have only two ways. One you can do personal self help or two you can hire a doctor for some therapy. Personally I recommend the self help… there are some great tools to help you and it's must longer term solution for you.
Hiring a doctor can actually work against you. You will have to bend to their personal schedule and their professional schedule. You may be left with questions unanswered and that can just put you into a greater state of anxiety.
Not going the doctor and therapy route leaves you with self help. That is the best way for most people because there are so many tools that lead you in the right direction. During that process you will get to know yourself a lot better and that will just bread more confidence. And that confidence will help you become the master of your anxiety and panic.
