What sorts of medications are available for anxiety disorders?
Can you answer Angela Avalon's question about anxiety?:
If you have anxiety disorder, what works best for you? Do they have medications that you can take just when you are having an attack, or is it always something you have to take every day? Are there ones with less sexual side effects? How about ones you can take while pregnant?

You need to consult your doctor, they will find a medication that suits you best and is also affordable.
I don't know if they'll prescribe it to you when you're pregnant (I don't see why they can't find you something that'll be okay to take though). They'll most likely go over exercises to do too that'll be healthier than taking pills while pregnant. Yes, there are ones without sexual side effects. You need to speak to your doctor though. They'll prescribe whats good for you judging from your medical history.
It's not something you take everyday, it's usually given to take when you are experiencing them.
BENZODIAZEPINES are the best…followed by,
natural things like valerian, etc,. etc.
I'd honestly stick to natural over prescription especially for pregnancy, but always consult ur doctor first.
Hi honey there are many on the market, depends on what suits you best, also as you are pregnant, I would suggest asking what the doctor would recommend.
I suffer from this and have done for the last 5 years, but everyone is different.
Please seek help, you are not going mad, nor are you insane, just need guidance and help.
I hope you become well, it is an idea to go to group discussions I find these are an enormous help in recovery and you learn different techniques.
Good Luck, and if you need to talk please just email me, I am on this site alot.
Good Luck honey.

there are medications for anxiety. personally i take prozac daily for both depression and anxiety. But i also have xanax in case of emergencies.
Not sure i you can take medications while pregnant, you would have to ask your doctor.
However, if you can't take medication there are always non-medication therapies to try as well. I did DBT which worked WONDERS for me. Enough that while I used to have full blown panic attacks on a weekly basis. Now even though i have xanax, i have needed to take it once in the past 3 months.
i take zoloft its wonderful i havent seen any problems with not getting erections or stuff. no suicidal thoughts i feeel GREAT
